A public memorial service for John Henry will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Kentucky Horse Park. Look for coverage of the service, including video, on TheHorse.com.
The memorial program is expected to be around 30 minutes long. Those expected to speak are: former Kentucky Governor, Martha Layne Collins; Tom Levinson, step-son of John Henry’s late owner, Sam Rubin; Hall of Fame jockey Chris McCarron; Ted Bassett, former Keeneland president; and John Nicholson, Kentucky Horse Park executive director
