The Equine Fund is hosting Jane Savoie–rider, teacher, author, and coach–at a full day seminar on Sunday, April 29, 2007, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (indoors) at Denbesten Ranch in Valatie, N.Y. The ranch is about a half-hour East of Albany, N.Y., and a half-hour West of The Berkshires in Massachusetts. The Equine Fund is an educational non-profit group dedicated to raising equine awareness to prevent abuse of horses.


A percentage of proceeds from the Jane Savoie seminar and dinner will be donated to regional equine rescue and/or therapeutic riding organizations and equine veterinary studies scholarship.


Savoie will offer a three-hour morning classroom session with helpful take-away tools and techniques for every rider based on her book That Winning Feeling. In the afternoon session, Jane will work with four mounted pairs offering detailed demonstrations and an opportunity for questions.


The evening before, April 28 at 6:30 p.m., The Equine Fund will host a fundraising dinner with Savoie. She will be offering an informal talk on her life as an equestrian
