The Magic Valley Horseman’s Association is trying to revive equestrian activities in Southern Idaho, and as part of that plan is welcoming all breeds of horses.

That means people with everything from Quarter Horses to Arabians and Miniature Horses can join the group and take part in gatherings.

“We’re trying to get the families and kids, who are interested in horses, a place where they can learn how to get involved,” Jim Pierce, vice president of the association, told The Times-News of Twin Falls, Idaho. “A lot of times, the kids will ask where they can do team roping, barrel racing, or other events, so this is a way they can get involved.”
