The annual silent auction and Kentucky Derby party at Blood-Horse Publications May 3 raised more than $6,500 for the March of Dimes.
Blood-Horse Publications has been the top fundraiser in Lexington, Ky., for the March of Dimes for at least the past five years. The silent auction held every Derby week is one of many March of Dimes fundraising activities sponsored by the company, which held raffles, pot lucks, and ice cream socials earlier this year.
Blood-Horse Publications also collects clothing, canned goods, and toys each year for various industry charities.
