A horse was hit by a car on San Dimas Avenue in San Dimas, Calif., on Saturday (June 16), before it ran onto the Foothill (210) Freeway. According to an online San Gabriel Valley Tribune report (www.sgvtribune.com), the incident caused traffic problems until California Highway Patrol officers were able to subdue the horse.


“The horse was hit on San Dimas Avenue below the freeway overpass about 9:15 p.m., said Sgt. Kirk Smith of the sheriff’s San Dimas Station,” read the article.


The driver who hit the horse was uninjured, and the status of the horse was not available
