The Kentucky Horse Park has announced that Hagyard Equine Medical Institute will offer the following free seminars to horse owners and enthusiasts who attend the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event on April 27-29:
Sport Horse Diagnostics, Upper Airway Endoscopy and the Equine Treadmill, Thursday, April 27, 12:30 pm, presented by Dwayne Rodgerson, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVS. This lecture will include information on using the equine treadmill to diagnose upper airway disorders in the performance horse.
Large Animal Emergency Response, Friday, April 28, 12:30 p.m., presented by Nathan Slovis, DVM, Dipl. ACVIM. The event will educate owners about safe, effective techniques to use during emergencies such as trailer accidents, barn fires, rescue and transport of a downed horse, and water and mud recovery
