The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine is celebrating National Pet Week, May 7-13, by highlighting the bond that the veterinarians, students, and staff have with their own companion animals.
The VTH provides care to 15,000 dogs, cats, horses, and other companion animal patients each year. Clients who bring their animals to the teaching hospital know that the expert staff takes excellent care of all animal patients.
During National Pet Week, clients will also get a glimpse of the pets that rule the roost when the experts go home.
Staff members who submitted a digital photo of their pet will be wearing buttons that feature their own pet with the words “I My Pet.” The pet photos are also posted online at the teaching hospital web site: www.cvm.uiuc.edu/vth
