As you may have experienced or heard, there have been significant increases in late-term abortions and early fetal losses within the last week. In order to determine the extent of the problems, we urgently need your cooperation. The following information is being asked of all members of the Thoroughbred Farm Managers and will be strictly confidential. Only a summary of the data will be presented at a proposed meeting of farm managers and veterinarians later this week (Thursday, May 10, at Keeneland at 5 p.m., EDT), so time is of the essence. Please complete the questionnaire and return to Dr. Roberta Dwyer by fax (859) 257-8542 or by e-mail at rmdwyer@pop.uky.edu by 9:00 a.m. (EDT), Wednesday, May 9, 2001, or ASAP.
