Did you see the article https://thehorse.com/ViewArticle.aspx?ID=14641 about the 23 Saddlebreds in California that were deliberately fed a concoction of carrots, apples, and oleander leaves to try and poison them?

According to Wikipedia.com, “Oleander is one of the most poisonous plants in the world and contains numerous toxic compounds, many of which can be deadly to people, especially young children. The toxicity of Oleander is considered extremely high and it has been reported that in some cases only a small amount had lethal or near lethal effects.”

This was no accident; a “serving” of carrots, apples, and oleander leaves was left in each stall and given to mares out in a pasture.
The owner of the farm said they had no disgruntled boarders or clients, and no suspects.

There is a $10,000 reward, but I hope if you know anything about this you, as a loving horse person, will either contact the farm owners at rsfsickhorses@gmail.com or the local authorities in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif
