Have you ever noticed that most conversations start with one person’s opinion? Usually followed by another person’s opinion, or a variation on the first opinion. Which then leads to a conversation and possibly learning something about each other

Have you ever noticed that most conversations start with one person’s opinion? Usually followed by another person’s opinion, or a variation on the first opinion. Which then leads to a conversation and possibly learning something about each other.
“Nice weather we’re having,” the first person said.
“Well, it’s sure been sunny and dry (an agreement with the first opinion), but if we don’t get rain soon, my corn crop is going to dry up and blow away (information),” said the second person.
From there, the first person might learn enough to realize that while he enjoys boating and dry weather, if there isn’t rain soon, there are other people who will have real problems. He also might realize that even if he has to miss a weekend of boating, the rain is necessary to keep the lake levels up
