The motion picture “50-1,” which chronicles Mine That Bird's Kentucky Derby victory in 2009, was premiered in Albuquerque, N.M., on Wednesday, March 19. So, Steve Haskin, senior correspondent for The Blood-Horse, took a look back on he remembers Mine That Bird's Triple Crown journey.


On April 17, 2009, I received a phone call from Darren Rogers, head of communications for Churchill Downs.
