An Oklahoma man wanted in connection with the theft of four Texas horses has turned himself in.

Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers (TSCRA) spokesman Laramie Adams said that, according to lead investigator TSCRA Special Ranger Ben Eggleston, Rusty Shane Munsell of Woodward, Oklahoma, allegedly purchased four horses by using a check from a closed account.

On Sept. 10, Munsell turned himself in to Wheeler County, Texas, authorities. He was subsequently charged with theft of livestock, Adams said. Munsell is being held in Wheeler County in lieu of $50,000 bond, Adams said.
