The Kentucky Equine Management Internship (KEMI) program will benefit from the sale of the Horse Mania 2010 horse "Cloisonneigh", which was sponsored by the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, at the Dec. 3 Keeneland Sales Pavilion auction.

The first Horse Mania auction in 2000 generated $761,300, of which $361,618 was distributed to sponsor-specified charities. This year's Horse Mania celebration was held in conjunction with the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, and the colorful horses that adorned the streets of Lexington will be auctioned off for the benefit of area nonprofit charities and LexArts' public art programs.

Ticket prices for the auction vary from $35 for general admission to $100-$150 for the VIP Reception and Auction.
