“On the Slide” captures a champion reining horse and rider sliding to astopped position in a cloud of dust. The photograph is so crisp you canactually see the treads on the cowboy rider’s boots. Mann is a frequent photographic contributor to The Horse. “Charles Mann is one of the best equine photographers in the country, so I’m not surprised that he won yet another award for his work,” said Kimberly S.
