Horse owners, farriers, and equine veterinarians are invited to attend the first International Hoof-Care Summit, to be held Feb. 5-7, 2004, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The summit will bring together leading authorities on the sometimes divergent, controversial methods of equine footcare.

The International Hoof-Care Summit will allow leading experts, working farriers and horse owners to examine the conflicting beliefs and practices in hoof care. The summit is being organized by American Farriers Journal, a trade publication serving the hoof-care industry. However, the agenda was determined through a poll of the magazine’s readers, hundreds of whom responded with ideas on issues they feel need to be addressed for optimum hoof care
