Bill Gengler, DVM, Dipl. AVDC, has been named Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Director of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) at the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, effective October 13th.

He brings a strong business background to the position, which helps him evaluate activities from a different perspective. Gengler was the founder of the Animal Hospital of Verona, an American Animal Hospital Association-certified four-veterinarian practice. He served as its sole owner from 1978-1998, when the practice was sold to The VetCor Group of Hingham, Massachusetts
