Morris Animal Foundation announces its call for pre-proposals for the fiscal year 2001. The deadline for application is Nov. 1, 2000, and funding is limited to companion animal and wildlife/special species studies. The Foundation is committed to funding $3 million in 2001.

In an effort to reach the goal of funding $5 million in health studies by fiscal year 2005, several significant changes have been made to Morris Animal Foundationâs grant program. Applicants seeking grants in the $100,000 per year range are encouraged to apply, and studies lasting up to five years in length will be considered.

The official call for pre-proposals, containing all application details, can be obtained by calling the Foundationâs Grant Department at 800/243-2345, or by visiting the web site at www.MorrisAnimalFoundation.org.
