Teens Arrested in Wisconsin Livestock Shootings
Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the shooting deaths of three horses and five cows in two Wisconsin counties.
Last month, three horses and five cows were discovered either dead or dying in their pastures in Dunn and Barron counties. All of the animals had sustained small caliber gunshot wounds. Livestock shootings were also reported in nearby St. Croix county.</

On Dec. 21, police in Dunn and Barron counties acted on a tip and arrested Trenton Hollister, 17, of Dallas Wisc., and Brock Flatland, 17, of Wheeler, for taking part in the Dunn and Barron county incidents.
Barron County District Attorney Angela Beranek later charged Hollister and Flatland each with two counts of Class 1 Felony mistreatment of animals. Each count carries penalties of $10,000 in fines or three years and six months imprisonment, or both
