Georgia Horse Shot with Arrows, Reward Offered
A $7,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot arrows at a horse in Fayette County, Ga., on Sunday.
A passerby discovered the wounded mare down in its pasture in Brooks, Ga. The animal had sustained arrow wounds in the spine, neck, and head, said Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Brent Rowan.

"The arrows were like the ones used to hunt deer," Rowan said. "We don't think the shooting was accidental."
The horse was in stable condition following surgery, said a spokesman for the veterinarian in charge of its care
