Kentucky Derby Winner Super Saver Draws Post 8 for Preakness Stakes

WinStar Farm's homebred Super Saver will attempt to become the fifth horse in the last 11 years to win both the Derby and the Preakness. Big Brown was the last horse to do it, in 2008. Calvin Borel, who guided Rachel Alexandra to a Preakness victory a year ago, has the mount on Super Saver for trainer Todd Pletcher.
Pletcher will also send out Dogwood Stable's Aikenite, who drew post 1 and was listed as a 20-1 longshot by Pimlico oddsmaker Frank Carulli. Javier Castellano will ride the son of Yes It's True.
After drawing unfavorable post 1 in the Derby en route to a sixth-place finish as the favorite, Lookin At Lucky will break from post 7 in the Preakness. The three-time grade I winner and last year's champion 2-year-old male will be ridden by Martin Garcia for the first time. Lookin At Lucky was installed as the 3-1 second choice
