Two horses are missing from Rapid City, South Dakota. They were stolen either late evening on May 16, or early morning on May 17. One is a Quarter Horse mare who is described as a smoky dun, about 15 hands in height. The mare has a few white hairs in the middle of her forehead, no brand, and was wearing slide plates and a navy blanket with silver trim.


A red leopard appaloosa gelding is missing as well. Standing at 16 hands, the horse has a marking which looks like a “D” on his right hip formed by spots. This horse has been known to flap his lips when bored.
