The United Pegasus Foundation has a new home, thanks to Thoroughbred owner Gary Biszantz.

Biszantz recently purchased a 40-acre farm north of Los Angeles near Tehachapi and generously donated it to the horse rescue/rehabilitation organization. Biszantz also gave $20,000 for immediate renovation of the facility, which can house up to 200 horses.

Called the United Pegasus Foundation Harry A. Biszantz Memorial Equine Rehabilitation Center, it will be used to prepare ex-racehorses for new careers.
