The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s Center for Veterinary Biologics is announcing its eighth public meeting to discuss regulatory and policy issues related to the manufacture, distribution, and use of veterinary biological products.
The meeting is open to all interested parties. It will be held in the Scheman Building at the Iowa State Center, Ames, Iowa, Sept. 23 and 24, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
The agenda for this year’s meeting is currently being planned and suggestions for topics are being requested. Topics already suggested include international harmonization of regulations, naked DNA vaccines, in vitro testing update, quality assurance, and electronic submission of outlines of production, forms, and data.
The Center for Veterinary Biologics is also inviting licensed producers of veterinary biological products, product users, and other interested parties to present their ideas about the licensing, manufacturing, testing, and distribution of these products TheHorse.com is home to thousands of free articles about horse health care.
