The Dolly Green Research Foundation, Inc. is soliciting research proposals from equine practitioners. Any equine practitioner licensed in California is eligible. The grant application requires a co-investigator holding a funded position at any university with a recognized equine research program. Only research proposals with a direct or indirect benefit to the health and welfare of the Thoroughbred racehorse will be considered.

Practitioners who have a funded position with any university are not eligible for these funds.

The Foundation also is soliciting research proposals from veterinarians associated with academic institutions. Again, only research proposals with a direct or indirect benefit to the health and welfare of the Thoroughbred racehorse will be considered.

Completed proposals must be received in the Southern California Equine Foundation office by May 15, 2000. Funding will be awarded by Sept. 1, 2000
