TIP Announces 2015 Performance Awards Winners

The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP), which is designed to encourage the retraining of Thoroughbreds into other disciplines upon completion of careers in racing or breeding, announced the winners and other placings from its 2015 Performance Awards program on March 3.
The complete list of winners and participants is available online.
The performance awards recognize Thoroughbreds accumulating the most points at all horse shows in each of the 12 award categories and multiple divisions throughout the year. Winners will receive ribbons, prize money, and a variety of prizes, including coolers, saddle pads, leather halters, and lead shanks.
“The growth TIP has shown in the last four years confirms the dedication our owners and riders have about retired Thoroughbreds,” said Kristin Leshney, senior counsel for The Jockey Club and the TIP administrator
