If you have a horse-related question, where do you go first? The internet, possibly a search engine or social media site?

There are many sources and opportunities for horse owners to network and gather information than there used to be. So which are your favorites? In last week’s online poll, we asked our readers which social media outlets they use to share or gather horse-related information. More than 600 people responded, and we’ve tallied the results

Of the 613 respondents, 215 (35%) said they use Facebook to share or gather horse-related information, and 123 (20%) said they use YouTube. Some 34 readers (6%) said they use Pinterest, while 19 individuals (3%) indicated they use Instagram for the same purpose. Only 18 people (3%) specified that they use Twitter for horse information, and 61 respondents (10%) said they use other outlets not mentioned. The remaining 143 respondents (23%) said they do not use social media.
