TOBA to Hold Owner Seminar Near Chicago

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will conduct a New Thoroughbred Owner Seminar on Friday, June 11, at Arlington Park in Arlington Heights, Ill. The seminar, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature discussions on industry business issues and options for acquiring horses, including partnerships, auctions, and claiming, as well as a discussion about veterinary topics. Speakers include Robert Sedlacek, Glen Berman, Mike Campbell, Don Little Jr., Chris Block, David and Patricia Block, Denise Pumfrey and Dr. James Gilman.
The seminar will begin at 8 a.m. and will include breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon of racing at Arlington Park. The registration fee for the New Owner Seminar is $75 for TOBA members and $100 for non-members and includes all support materials, admission to the track and meals.
TOBA's next educational event is a New Thoroughbred Owner Seminar, Friday, July 23 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minn.
