Oregon Emergency Wild Horse Gather Concludes Successfully

More than 50 horses released when their pasture fences were cut have been returned to the equine sanctuary.
The BLM removed 105 horses from outside the Silver King HMA and 181 horses from in and around the Triple B HMA.
The gather comes in response to the Cherry Road Wildfire, which has burned 90% of the area in which a herd resides.
