A wild horse found at the Salt River Recreation Area in Arizona is now the subject of an animal cruelty investigation.
The BLM will offer two public tours of the Indian Lakes Off-Range Wild Horse and Burro Corral in Nevada on Oct. 23.

The BLM said it hopes to gather and provide feed and water to as many as 200 horses in declining body conditions.
The researchers hope the ponies help restore the land to the rich and productive territory it was before World War II.
