Best Barn Dog 2022 Contest Winner: "Daisy"

“Polymer is an adorable 6-year-old collie mix rescued from local humane society. She protects the horses/barn from unwanted critters (mice, rats, moles, groundhogs, flies, bees, etc). She helps find lost shoes in the field and cleans up after the farrier.”

“George and Marley. George is the trumpet that announces friends arriving at the barn and greets everyone he meets (two- and four-legged) with piercing high, 20-pound dog yips. He is my ambassador to welcome friends and soon-to-be friends, with the mighty growl only when strangers dare come near. His greatest joy is hanging with the horses and playing fence line and sharing Georgie kisses with horse noses. The ever-hopeful Georgie waited patiently for over a year, teaching the barn cats that his love was pure and he meant no harm. Patience, persistence, and Georgie's antics won the day! From shelter dog to barn dog, with a giant heart, George made the transition seamless and joyful. Hands down, George and his compadre Marley are THE best barns dogs!”
