Manure Management Workshops Scheduled in Pennsylvania
The Chester County, Pennsylvania, Conservation District has announced the dates for several manure management workshops taking place early this year.
“Pennsylvania law requires any operation that generates or land applies manure to complete and implement a manure management plan,” the group said on a program flyer. “Come Join the Chester County Conservation District … to familiarize yourself with Chapter 91, Pennsylvania’s Manure Management Regulations; learn how to identify and address resource concerns regarding manure; and receive assistance to develop and complete a manure management plan for your operation.”

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided in the morning, and lunch will be provided to all participants who stay to work on a manure management plan, the flyer said
