The University of California, Davis, annual equine medicine symposium is scheduled for April 9. This year’s topic is "The Golden Years: Helping Your Horse Mature Gracefully," and it will cover everything you ever wanted to know about helping your horse of any age mature to a happy and healthy senior. Your registration gives you access to all lectures and wet labs (hands-on activities) as well as breakfast, lunch, symposium proceedings, and an entry into the raffle for prizes.

Proceeds from the symposium will help fund wet labs and other activities, as well as help send students to the annual American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) Convention in December (in 2008, several students attended in San Diego, Calif.) and, when possible, to the annual AAEP Opportunities in Equine Practice seminar for 3rd year veterinary students.

Registration will take place from 8:00-9:00 a.m. on the day of the conference, or online pre-registration is available. The symposium events will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
