Southern Arkansas University (SAU) police are seeking thieves who made off with several horses from the stables at the school’s Magnolia campus earlier this week.

Brad Stout, SAU administrative specialist, said that on Nov. 2, five Quarter Horses, a horse trailer, and a variety of equestrian equipment were taken from the Mulerider Stables. The trailer was later recovered in McCurtain County, Okla., Stout said, but the horses remain missing
