Mississippi Horse Shootings Probed

Police in Mississippi are seeking whoever is responsible for the shooting-related deaths of two horses and wounding another in Clarksdale.
Clarksdale Police Capt. Robbie Linley said that on Feb. 29 the horses’ owner discovered one horse was dead in its pasture of a gunshot wound and two others wounded, Linley said. One of the wounded horses had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was humanely euthanized. The other sustained a gunshot wound to the ribs and is recovering, Linley said.
