Mary Brunetti Fine Equine Products has introduced TailRx, a mane and tail restoration system.

TailRx is the first product developed to combat hair loss and develop a thick, luxurious mane and tail. When the skin around the tailbone or on the crest of a horse’s neck becomes scaly, dead skin cells get caught in the follicles, cutting off the blood supply that carries nutrients to the hair. It must have a consistent flow of blood to look healthy.

TailRx is a three-step treatment. The first step exfoliates the skin and clears the follicles. The second step strengthens the hair with amino acids that increase elasticity and detangles the hair with silicones.
