IDEXX announces the release of IDEXX EquiView PACS version 3.1, its latest picture archiving and communication system imaging software.

Among the improvements is IntelliShare image networking, a proprietary feature that lets equine veterinarians access radiographs and corresponding data from any computer associated with their practice. Data can be synchronized across multiple portable image capture stations and merged into a central location. Users can also to purge old or obsolete radiographs from the image capture stations.

Other features include modality awareness that enables side-by-side viewing of endoscopy, MRI, CT, and ultrasound images, and a customized Patient CD with a Viewer that makes viewing and sharing patient information with clients and/or colleagues easy.
