An elderly man who told Deland, Fla., deputies he had “fallen on hard financial times” and was having problems caring for the animals by himself had 26 horses removed from his farm on Dec. 29, according to an article on Loca6.com (https://www.local6.com/news/14945814/detail.html).


While the man does not face charges at this time, the article said the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department will continue to investigate
