I’m also leaving for the AAEP convention in a minivan, not a jet plane, so the whole analogy pretty much disintegrates right there. Judging by the rain pounding my house this morning, “Row, row, row your boatÉ” might be a better theme song for this trip.

Assuming we don’t get washed off of Interstate-5 and wind up taking an unscheduled Pacific cruise, we should make it to Anaheim sometime tonight. I was hoping to arrive in time to pick up my badge and check out the convention center this afternoon, but the kids wanted to go to school for at least the morning. As a side note, I have to wonder what kind of children cry over missing school to go to Disneyland. They may be broken
