The Kentucky Horse Council (KHC) Annual Member Meeting is set for Nov. 16 at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The meeting will start at 2 p.m and will include hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and door prizes. The agenda for the meeting includes a board of director's election, 2014 review, upcoming events, input from members, and an equine industry update.

Prior to the meeting, all members are invited to a trail ride beginning at 10 a.m. Shaker Village fees include $10 to ride, and an additional $20 stall fee or $10 paddock fee, if needed. The trail ride is not KHC-sponsored or –guided. Members ride at their own risk. To register or view the schedule online, visit www.kentuckyhorse.org.

"We are excited to host our annual meeting at Shaker Village," said KHC President Kathy Hopkins. "In the past, meeting at Shaker Village has produced the largest member turnout, and we look forward to visiting and getting important feedback from our membership to help us grow into the future and have an even greater impact on Kentucky horses and the horse industry."
