Definite entries for jumping, driving, and vaulting, which take place over the second week of competition at the Alltech Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) World Equestrian Games (WEG) 2014 in Normandy, France, were finalized today (Aug. 22).

As with the disciplines taking place over the first week of the games, the number of entries remains very high and brings the total of athletes and horses who will start in the games to 969 and 1080, respectively. Seventy-four nations will be represented, an all-time high and a 25% increase compared to the previous record established at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany.
