At a special session on Thursday, February 17, The HSUS will formally introduce its new Pets for Life National Training Center. This training academy, conducted at the facilities of and in partnership with the Denver Dumb Friends League in Colorado, will teach local shelters how to implement programs to help pet owners in their communities solve animal behavior problems.
Daylong courses covering animal shelter design, animal behavior, animal overpopulation, farm animal cruelty investigations, and illegal animal fighting on Feb. 16
