Shelbyville, KY – March 22, 2019 – Razerhorse is pleased to announce an agreement with the Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Factory to provide exclusive distribution of all Razerhorse products worldwide. “As our product line has grown in popularity, we recognize the need to have a distribution system that allows for growth and reliability in the markets we serve,” stated Erik Lundquist, founder and president of Razerhorse.

“As a result of this agreement, we will rely on Farrier Product Distribution (FPD) to manage the distribution of Razerhorse products in the U.S. and Canada,” said Martin Kerckhaert, President of the Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Factory. “FPD has the infrastructure in place to add these products to their existing product line and will be able to provide the reliability and customer service levels that will enhance the delivery of Razerhorse shoes and pads to these markets. This arrangement will be effective April 1, 2019.”

The Razer shoe technology was created in Sweden in 2003 by founder Erik Lundquist. After battling lameness issues with his own horses he began searching for an alternative to the steel horseshoe, which locks the hoof in place. With the aid of gait analysis software and high-speed video, the Razer shoe was developed using a tempered tool steel that flexed with the horse’s hoof.

Dan Burke, President of FPD stated, “We look forward to adding the Razerhorse products to our existing line. Many of the dealers in our program currently carry these products and it will be convenient, and provide economies, for them to be able to order from us. For Razerhorse customers who are not currently in our program, we will work closely with them to provide the same level of quality service we have offered during our 30 years of service in this industry
