Determining exactly what your horse needs in his diet can be confusing, and sorting through the multitude of concentrates and supplements available is enough to thoroughly confuse many horse owners.
So what do you feed your horse? Is he on a pasture-only diet, or does his daily meal include concentrates and supplements?
In last week’s online poll, we asked our readers if their horses’ daily diet includes any grain, feed, concentrates, or supplements in addition to hay or pasture grass. More than 650 people responded, and we’ve tallied the results!
Of the 674 respondents, 614 (91%) said yes, their horses’ daily diet includes grain, feed, concentrates, or supplements in addition to hay or pasture grass. The remaining 60 respondents (9%) horses’ only eat hay or grass
