Bramlage Elected to The Jockey Club Board of Stewards

Bramlage is an internationally recognized equine orthopedic surgeon and a shareholder in Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He is a past president of the American Association of Equine Practitioners and of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He is also a past chairman of the Research Advisory Committee of Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation and serves on the board of directors for that organization. Additionally, he is a member of the Thoroughbred Safety Committee. Bramlage was awarded The Jockey Club Medal in 1994 in recognition of his contributions to Thoroughbred racing. He has been a member of The Jockey Club since 2002.
The Jockey Club, founded in 1894 and dedicated to the improvement of Thoroughbred breeding and racing, is the breed registry for North American Thoroughbreds.
