Jones County, Miss., law enforcement authorities and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) are seeking the owner of a severely wounded Tennessee Walking Horse discovered standing at a roadside in Soso.

The horse has deep stab wounds on his hind legs, a wound in the girth area of its belly, and a deep back wound located where a saddle would fit.
