Kentucky Downs 2017 Research Day Sponsorships Sold Out

Sponsorships have been obtained for all of the six races Kentucky Downs made available for Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation Day on Saturday, Sept. 2.
The sponsors of the six races taking place at the Franklin, Kentucky, turf track are Breeders’ Cup, Equibase, Godolphin, Great American Insurance, Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, and Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital. Sponsorships were $1,000 each, with those funds going to the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation to support equine research.
“Kentucky Downs is committed to improving the industry, and we understand the importance of research to support the health and soundness of horses,” said Corey Johnsen, Kentucky Downs president. “Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation plays a very important role in such research, and we are pleased to be able to assist in its work.”
