Madison County, Miss., law enforcement authorities are investigating the death of a pair of Gypsy Vanner horses.
The investigator in charge of the case said that on June 19, the animals’ owner contacted the Madison County Sheriff’s Department to report that the Gypsy Vanner horses—a mare and a gelding—were missing. The animals were later discovered dead on the property.
The investigator declined to comment further on the ongoing investigating.
