In the inaugural Equestrian Social Media Awards (ESMA), TheHorse.com took home top honors in the "Best Use of Twitter, International" and the "Most Informative, International" categories, and third place in the "Best Use of Facebook, International" category.

Based in the United Kingdom, the ESMAs began in December 2010 and attracted votes from 5,628 people in 84 countries for 181 finalists (up to 10 in each of 15 categories) from 12 countries.
