Clark Resigns as CEO of Hagyard Equine Medical Institute
Hagyard Equine Medical Institute (HEMI), in Lexington, Ky., announced Nov. 4 that Andrew Clark, DVM, MBA, chief executive officer for the last six years, has decided to resign his position effective Dec. 31, 2011. Clark plans to pursue consulting opportunities in industry. He will continue his relationship with Hagyard in a consulting role.
Following Clark’s announcement to doctors and staff at Hagyard, Stuart Brown, DVM, HEMI, thanked Clark for his service and stewardship of the practice during his tenure. Brown recognized Clark for the accomplishments achieved under his leadership.
Brown also stated that Hagyard looks forward to working with Clark in his new role to continue to complement the various initiatives he has launched during his time as CEO.
