A life-sized horse replica has been purchased to assist in training firefighters and rescue personnel in the proper way to handle equine rescues, according to a story on wiltshiretimes.

The Wiltshire Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in the United Kingdom contributed more than $20,000 to support rural safety in and around Wiltshire, including the purchase of the 15-hand horse replica. Specialized animal rescue equipment also has been pruchased and is being used to train firefighters and rescue personnel.
